NASSCOM, Pune held The Tech Innovation Conclave yesterday, creating a platform for organizations to showcase their refreshing take on leadership, innovation, and business strategy. This was the first time that the event was conducted virtually and featured Tech Leaders from over 150 Companies across various industries.
Sanjeev Fadnavis, CEO of Nitor Infotech, was invited as one of the speakers to address the audience virtually. In his scintillating session, he spoke about Nitor’s unique offering of Research as A Service, a sub-branch of the industry trend of Everything as a Service and highlighted some of its key features.
In his session, Sanjeev emphasized the relevance of RaaS in today’s world and why it is important to seek opportunities in the Unknown. He explained how the evolution of RaaS stemmed from a unique question that he asks any start up even today- “What is the most difficult problem you want to solve?” After talking about Nitor’s pioneering journey with RaaS, he spoke about their first RaaS project. He further explained Nitor’s approach to RaaS with a fascinating example of an Oil & Gas Company going through a difficult time due to the global lockdown, budget restrictions, and goodwill at stake by breaking down the steps that were taken to provide a solution for their issue. He then went on to talk about the right takers for RaaS who have the appetite to invest in a service that relies on a pay-per-use philosophy.
He concluded by emphasizing on the thriving culture of RaaS at Nitor and while it was not an offering for those who demanded an assured outcome, he highlighted that RaaS will eventually become an inevitable demand in the Tech Sphere.
