Pune, Maharashtra - Nitor Infotech, an Ascendion company, successfully concluded its month-long AI Carnival 2025, a high-energy celebration of innovation, collaborative problem-solving, and the transformative power of agentic AI.

The carnival kicked off on June 26, 2025, with the AAVA™ Agentic AI workshop, witnessing participation from 627 employees and the creation of custom-built agents using Ascendion AAVA™. This immersive session marked the beginning of a series of interactive events designed to empower NAscenders to explore the possibilities of AI firsthand.
“Working with emerging AI technologies has shown me one thing; most people aren’t afraid of AI, they just want to understand it. AI Carnival was about making AI less intimidating and more inviting. Because when people truly connect with technology, innovation follows,” said Sanjeev Fadnavis, CEO, Nitor Infotech, an Ascendion company.
Following the workshop, the AI Townhall served as the official launchpad for Neurals@25, the company’s flagship AI hackathon focusing on agentic AI, emphasizing business viability and technical excellence.
From July 6 to 13, Neurals@25 saw 24 diverse teams, consisting of 100+ members across various business units and locations, taking on over 60 AI problem statements. Notably, each team had at least one non-P&D team member, fostering cross-functional collaboration and fresh perspectives.
To support the innovation journey, participants attended a Crew.AI workshop and Business Viability masterclass on July 8, ensuring they were equipped to build technically sound and relevant solutions. The evaluation criteria reflected this balanced focus: 50% Technical Excellence, 30% Business Viability, and 20% Presentation & Communication.
Shortlisted teams presented their ideas live at the office, where stalls and experiential setups gave everyone a chance to interact with emerging AI technologies in engaging, hands-on ways.
“The most powerful tech is the kind that makes sense to everyone. AI Carnival was about sparking curiosity, starting conversations, and helping people feel confident working with AI, no matter their background,” said Anil Khanna, Vice President - Technology Practices, Nitor Infotech, an Ascendion company.
The event culminated on July 18 with a vibrant closing ceremony celebrating creativity, teamwork, and the art of crafting for the future of AI at Nitor Infotech.
