“Strategic Wisdom of Outsourced Collaboration” (SWOC)
Based onour extensive experience of working with global customers for world-class products and projects, we have introduced this paradigm shift in traditional outsourcing. Here, the focus is shifted from mere cost savings to Strategic Collaboration Model.

Nitor’s Strategic Wisdom for Outsourced Collaboration (SWOC) Engagement Model is a customer-centric delivery model that aims atcreating larger value for thecustomers where cost saving is not the only but it is one of the many benefits. This model aims at participating intensely in multiple business processes and offering a wider benefit to customers. Global competition is driving the costs down while the expectations on value are increasing. We, at Nitor, believe in delivering more business value. In this collaborative approach, Nitor makes proactive investments in technology, project management and functional aspects of project for providing seamless benefits to customers on the deliverables.

Some of the unique benefits of SWOC model for our customers are:
Costs are controlled
A greater pipeline for project execution is created with redesigned approach
Significant impact is seen on the EBITDA
Growth aspirations forboth the organizations are obvious and so a true sense of partnership is created between customer and Nitor – with the end result of a win-win engagement

This model ensures bringing order to theprocesses, collaborating strategically and making the processes long term.

We understand that the product requirements cannot be rigid and frozen for complete lifecycle. The development and release cycles need to be flexible and should be able to accommodate changing requirements and also be able to release multiple versions of the product.

We follow SCRUM based product development methodology for most of the product development processes. This enables us to take care of challenges of working in a distributed environment without compromising on the quality of the product and without hampering the timelines and budgets.

For arriving at SCRUM process details,Nitor Project Manager and Customer Project Manager agree on various operational details to arrive at SCRUM process details. As a process:
A SCRUM Master is identified for every project
The SCRUM Master works with customer’s point of contact on detailing the SCRUM processes. This includes schedules of SCRUM, product backlog, daily SCRUM meeting and also the backlogs for each sprint.
The SCRUM Master also presents process to the rest of the team members and gets the same confirmed from the customer
SCRUM Master, along with designated persons, creates user stories which helpsteammembers in understanding what they need to do

On daily basis, the team members update status of various tasks and highlight any risks and schedule variances. SCRUM Master proactively works on resolving those. These are shared transparently with customer.

In the daily opening and closing meetings, members speak about the progress and also collaborate with peers. Through this, we ensure that all the team members understand the larger picture of the product being developed and they are not focusing only on individual modules or programs. This makes the SCRUM meetings effective with members participating with big picture in mind and extending support to others.

Advantages:
Confirmations, corrections, endorsements and feedback are available throughout because the customers and stakeholders are included in the development and review process more intensely
Risks, concerns, problems and issues are shared from time to time through small, shippable builds and are managed well in time
Transparency in development with no surprises which enables quick, in time actions
Empowered team members bring up their thoughts, innovations at all stages and participate in the overall process
