Background Situation
A North American ISV focusing on Business Intelligence-based Products wanted to re-create its flagship product in performance and strategy management area on latest SharePoint platform with rich user interface.
Challenge
The earlier product was developed on ASP .NET 2.0 Platform. The product architecture did not support the latest SharePoint 2010 technology. At the same time, the mandate was to retain the features and provide a better user-interface using Silverlight 4.0.
Nitor Solution
As a starting point, the Nitor business team created the idea research and business analysis document with features roadmap mapped to V1.0 and V2.0. Then the technology team worked on to create a more scalable architecture with different application tiers (Presentation Layer, Business Logic Layer and Data Access Layer).

A leading SaaS-based application provider based out of North America with multiple online subscriptions based business products was looking to release its customer relationship management application on SaaS model and focus on market expansion through that.

Framework Development: The team concentrated on development of a scalable, commercially deployable custom SaaS framework based on the WSS3.0 as a backend engine. Customer Management Module Development: This module was developed with various roles and subscriptions to be managed. Multiple Application Development: The team concentrated on development of multiple business applications including customer relationship management module and APIs for end customers to integrate the system with local systems.
